We take over 20,000 breaths per day, inhaling whatever pollutants are in our environment. Even when you’re “safe” at home your health is at risk.
Not only does outdoor pollution make its way inside, there are many indoor sources of air pollution too, including stoves, cleaning products, and building materials. In fact, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says indoor air can be 5x–100x more polluted than outdoor air!
Now the good news. AirDoctor’s UltraHEPA filter removes virtually 100% of airborne contaminants as small as 0.003 microns—that’s 100x smaller than the HEPA standard.
Capture the airborne contaminants hiding in your home’s air and take control of your air quality with AirDoctor.

Quality control must be going
"Quality control must be going down at AirDoctor. I ordered the 4000 model and the first one didn't work because I couldn't get the lock function to move properly. Hence the unit always had the filter replacement light on and it stopped functioning. They sent me a replacement and that one didn't work either! The fan didn't even run! Where is your quality control??? Do you even check? Still waiting for my refund. Spent a lot of time chatting with an agent, explaining everything, recording, sending videos, packaging everything back up and having to drive the 20 pound units to the FedEx store. STILL waiting for my refund, as they won't refund it immediately -- I have to contact them! With what?? Confirmation number? So disappointed!!!"

I feel This is a
"I feel This is a scam. Our home has been professionally confirm with high amounts of mold. So much mold that we need to move out for 4-5 months for remediation. The blue light has been on constantly showing that air quality is good which it’s not!"
— amy t. (1/5)
I haven’t really noticed a
"I haven’t really noticed a difference of the smells in my house. The light is always blue, as in the air is good. Just to test it, I sprayed some “Endust” into a cleaning towel right by the sensor and the sensor light finally turned red and the fan adjusted for about 2 minutes of work and then it went back to low speed and the light turned blue. The verdict is still out if it was worth the $600!"

The air doctor is fabulous.
"The air doctor is fabulous. It’s always been on level one so I didn’t have a big problem to begin with. I have it on automatic and it never goes to two although it went to two or three when I cooked with my gas stove a couple of times great Product."
— Tammy L. (5/5)
My AirDoctor 4000 wasn't working
"My AirDoctor 4000 wasn't working right from the beginning, but customer service was excellent and they gave me no trouble at all with the refund after I dropped off my Air doctor to my nearest Fedex location."
— Zelda W. (4/5)
I have two other smaller
"I have two other smaller Air Doctors and love how they clean the air as well as how easy they are to maintain. I needed a larger one for my garage due to wildfire smoke and thought I would try the 4000. I love that it has WiFi so I can control it from upstairs. I bought this one in black and I really like the look and the fact that it has wheels. It is very lightweight certainly compared to my larger IQ Air. I just set up the Wifi and am very happy to have this before the smoke comes back into town."
— Amara S. (5/5)
No VOC sensor. I don’t
"No VOC sensor. I don’t know if this thing works. It is always on low during auto and can’t sense when VOCs are high. Is it using the internet to decide when to turn on because it has my location? It arrived after the AQI went back to normal so I have yet to see it proactively do anything."
— Laura P. (2/5)
AirDoctor operates very quietly. I
"AirDoctor operates very quietly. I found it interesting that my bedroom and den already had clean air. I set the AirDoctor up and in less than a minute, the air was in the ‘blue’. I do have hardwood floors so that could be the reason. I am keeping it to keep air quality good."
— Patricia E. (5/5)
It's a little bigger than
"It's a little bigger than we imagined it'd be/look, but seems to work well. The front panel to change the filter seems a little tough to get on and off - I hope it doesnt break eventually. Like that it has wheels. This took us a while to get because it was so expensive. Free shipping on top of a sale is really helpful. . . I feel all of Air Doctors stuff could be proced a lot cheaper. Most of us buying them have health issues and no money because of it."

The AirDoctor 4000 was one
"The AirDoctor 4000 was one of four air doctor units that we purchased. This one was assigned to our second largest space that includes the kitchen, dining table area, and another sitting space. The area is also somewhat open to the stairs and the second floor hallway, so the unit has quite a workload. The shape of the AirDoctor 4000 was ideal for this particular location. We have noticed the improvement in the air quality, especially in relation to the propane oven/stove. When a burner is turned on, there is a slight initial release of propane vapors from the stove into the ambient air. We keep the 4000 in the automatic mode and we've noticed that when the stove goes on, the 4000 immediately switches from the blue indicator (for purified air), briefly to red, then yellow, and within a minute or so it has cleaned the air and returns to the blue setting. The fan speed increases briefly, then returns to the whisper setting (lowest speed). So, we get a clear indication of what the unit is providing for our air quality. We love this unit and can recommend it highly to any prospective buyers."

Q&A
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are air changes per hour (ACH) important when shopping for an air purifier?
Air changes per hour (ACH) refers to how many times the air is changed with new, clean air in a given space within the span of an hour. A Harvard University Study cited by the CDC recommends at least 4 air changes per hour to effectively remove allergens like smoke, bacteria, viruses, dust, and pollen.
What is CADR, and why’s it important?
CADR, or Clean Air Delivery Rate, refers to your air purifier’s efficiency in removing these three contaminants over time: pollen, dust, and smoke. Higher CADR numbers indicate better air cleaning performance. The smoke CADR number is most stringent, reflecting the unit’s ability to eliminate the smallest and most dangerous particles from your indoor air.
Which air purifier is right for me?
Great question! Choosing the right air purifier will depend on the size of your room and the air circulations per hour. According to the Harvard University study, 4 air changes per hour are recommended for optimal purification. AirDoctor units are designed to meet this standard.
How often do I need to change the filters?
AirDoctor 4000 & 1000: Replace UltraHEPA® and Carbon/VOC filters every 6 months.
All other AirDoctor units:
Replace Carbon/VOC filters every 6 months.
Replace UltraHEPA® filters every 12 months.
The indicator light on your AirDoctor will also light on when it’s time to replace your filter
– no more guesswork!
